The latest display technology has advanced the way smartphone manufacturers are making their devices. Recently, Apple has placed an order for 70 million OLED panels from Samsung. This indicates that the tech giant is going to embed the same display technology as used in Samsung Galaxy S8.

It is highly speculated that the Apple's upcoming iPhone will have a curved display. With the recent news coming from Nikkei, Samsung is the sole OLED supplier to fulfill Apple's hardware demand and it will supply the OLED panels for its upcoming flagship. Although it is still unclear that how Apple will incorporate the display in its upcoming smartphone, but it is clear the company is going to use the same OLED panel as of Galaxy S8.

iPhone 8 or iPhone X is expected to have a major design renovation which might include a curved display, wireless charging, glass body and invisible home button. Samsung just now set a standard for the upcoming high-end smartphones. So it is vital for Apple to design the device closer or better than Samsung Galaxy S8.

With the recent reports coming from Nikkei, Apple is going to incorporate OLED panels in its upcoming smartphone range. In addition to this, HIS Markit analyst David Hsieh also confirmed the news that "Apple has ordered 70 million units of OLED panels from Samsung this year, while Samsung is preparing to churn out as many as 95 million for Apple in 2017."

Along with latest OLED display, MacRumors reported that the most anticipated iPhone might be equipped with an A11 chipset, as the company stated that its upcoming smartphone range will have the latest generation mobile processor. Just like Samsung, Apple is also expected to remove the iconic home button by placing it at the back or beneath the screen.

Reports have also been speculated that Apple is going to launch the latest technology which can identify user's fingerprint when he touches the display. Besides, wireless charging is also gathering much hype from the Apple's fans. Although the company didn't release any clarification regarding the most anticipated device, Apple fans are desperately waiting to experience it.
