IU, Kim Soo Hyun Reveals Close Relationship As They Work On Upcoming Music Video Collaboration

"Dream High" and "Producers" co-stars, IU and Kim Soo Hyun, just revealed how close they are to each other. This is after both celebrities collaborated to an upcoming music video. The said song is composed by singer, song writer Sam Kim.

According to a report from All Kpop, Fave Entertainment officially announces that IU and Kim Soo Hyun will be working together again. However, the said project will not be a television drama. As per the company's statement, "My Love From The Star" actor agrees to appear on IU's new music video.

As of writing, IU and Kim Soo Hyun's latest project together already wrapped up. Fave Entertainment revealed that the actor recently finished filming for the untitled music video. In terms of IU's title track, they are yet to decide whether the song will be a follow-up track or title song.

This is not the first for IU and Kim Soo Hyun to work side by side. They have a close relationship since both celebrities appeared on hit Korean drama "Dream High" where they portrayed two of the lead stars. In 2015, the two Hallyu stars starred in another television variety-drama titled "Producers" where they act alongside Cha Tae Hyun and Gong Hyo Jin.

As for the other news about IU and Kim Soo Hyun's collaboration, Hello Kpop reported that the reason why the actor willingly appeared on IU's music video is due to their long-standing close friendship. The site also noted that Soo Hyun takes a hero role in the project.

As per the aforementioned site, IU and Kim Soo Hyun have been appearing in each other's projects. "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" star is set to appear on the actor's upcoming film "Real" alongside with Suzy. The said movie casts Sulli, Lee Kyung Young, Sung Dong Il, and Lee Sung Min.

This new song will be part of IU's 4th album. Moreover, the agency also announces IU and Kim Soo Hyun's collaboration project will be released this coming April 21. Meanwhile, the singer's other tracks will be out on April 7 ("Love is Well with Oh Hyuk").
