2PM's Taecyeon In Talks To Star In OCN Thriller 'Save Me'
2PM rapper Taecyeon is reportedly in talks to star in yet another thriller. The K-pop idol and actor is considering the lead role for OCN's thriller drama tentatively entitled "Save Me."
According to a report by Soompi, JYP sources have leaked that Taecyeon is seriously considering the role. Based on early information about the series, the drama will revolve around a group of young men who come across a woman's cry for help and do their best to help her.
If Taecyeon accepts the offer, he will take on the role of the lead character who will try to help the woman. Taecyeon is no stranger to starring in thrillers. It can be recalled that his last drama "Let's Fight, Ghost" was a supernatural action thriller where he played a college student who has the ability to see and exorcise ghosts.
In his latest movie "House of the Disappeared", he plays a priest who helps a woman unravel the mystery behind her husband's death and the loss of her son after she was imprisoned for 25 years. Taecyeon said that the best part about his role is that he only had one outfit for the entire movie.
Among those who attended the premier of "House of the Disappeared" were Taecyeon's castmates from "Dream High" Kim Soo Hyun and T-ARA's Eunjung. Taecyeon was thankful that his two friends were still able to come to support him even though they could not stay for the actual movie because of their schedules.
Taecyeon said that it was incredible that the "Dream High" co-stars were still able to keep in touch and maintain their friendship after they finished filming especially since chatting apps like Kakao were still not available when they were involved with "Dream High," All Kpop reported
Taecyeon said that they remain good friends despite having their own schedules and careers to keep them busy. As a matter of fact, Kim Soo Hyun will be appearing in IU's upcoming music video for her comeback album. KeyEast, who manages Soo Hyun's career, said that Soo Hyun agreed to the project because of his friendship with IU.
