Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp and Caleb McLaughlin win Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

"Stranger Things" season 2 release date is still months away, however, hints and theories keep coming out. What will happen to William and Eleven in the sequel? Who are the new characters and how can they blend in Hawkins and to the Upside Down world?

Speaking of the new cast and characters in "Stranger Things" season 2, six additions will appear in the sequel. Each of them has a story and might even make a big impact on the series. According to a report from Movie Pilot, the second chapter will introduce Max, Roman, Billy, Bob Newby, Dr. Owens, and Murray Bauman.

As per the aforementioned site, Max (Sadie Sink) is a 13-year-old tomboyish girl who hangs out with Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will. She has a brother named Billy (Dacre Montgomery), he is 17-year-old and is branded as violent. Rumors about him say that he "may or may not have killed someone" before. "Stranger Things" season 2 theory has it that he might eye the three other teens in the series-- Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve.

Adding on, Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser) is part of the Department of Energy who is assigned to fix and control the portal leading to the Upside Down world. Aside from this character in "Stranger Things" season 2, Roman (Linnea Berthelsen) is somehow linked to the laboratory as well. Not to mention, she is also connected to Will's mother, Joyce.

Moreover, another character will also be part of Joyce's life. Bob Newby (Sean Austin) is her former classmate and their relationship will develop in a romantic way in "Stranger Things" season 2. David Harbour once said that Chief Hopper will somehow get annoyed to her friend's new boyfriend. In addition, Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman) is a journalist that turned into a conspired theorist that will go after the incident in Hawkins.

On a different note, when it comes to Will and Eleven's "Stranger Things" season 2 story arc, theory has it that there is a possibility that these two characters are now somehow connected to each other. Noah Schnapp once teased that Will may or may not turn into a monster. He will have hallucinations of the Upside Down world which cause him to undergo a neurological test. As for Eleven, her backstory will be shown in the sequel plus there is a theory that "The Lost Brother" might be somewhat connected to the latter and the laboratory has something to do with it.

Meanwhile, based on Express, "Stranger Things" has a big secret behind its title and show. One of the Duffer brothers, Ross, once said that the series, title, and designs are all inspired by Stephen King. The latter point out a certain feel whenever they open the author's big fat novels and with that reason, they wanted to have that same feeling every time they start a new chapter of the show.
