'Final Fantasy XV' Bound To Get A Surprising DLC; Final Fantasy VII Remake Game Director Talks About Materia
Now that the "Episode Gladiolus" downloadable content has been released for "Final Fantasy XV," players are now expecting two more game segments featuring two of Noctis' other buddies namely Prompto and Ignis. However, its game director - Hajime Tabata, made quite a revelation just recently about the game's future contents.
Tabata spoke with Italian publication Game Legends about "Final Fantasy XV" future contents. The director announced their intent to develop another DLC that will based on the game's main baddie - Ardyn Izunia. He added that his team is planning n deepen the story of the mentioned character as he will be the main focus of the content.
Nonetheless, there is no definite date yet as to when will the game expansion be released. With a series of future contents currently lined up for "Final Fantasy XV," the DLC is expected to be at the tail end of such list.
In line with this, Tabata also doused rumors suggesting that "Final Fantasy XV" DLCs were just contents being edited out from the game. He stated that the game expansions are meant to bring in improvements within the title and insisted that fans have a complete game contrary to rumors that they are filling its gaps through DLC releases.
Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy VII Remake's" game director Tetsuya Nomura also shelled out some new details about the highly anticipated game reboot. Apart from the new battle schematics and destructible game environments, Nomura divulged a bit of the game's other element known as Materia.
The game director stressed that a Materia is more of a skill that is very much different from magic. Moreover, Nomura said that players can use such game element when it is properly set up with an effect that can be utilized during battle, according to Gamingbolt.
