For Honor: Peacekeeper Guide | BECOME A GOD

The Peacekeeper character in the "For Honor" game was banned for the upcoming major league tournaments. This character was banned because of its overpower characteristic that causes unfair match for the players.

According to the source, the Peacekeeper light attack spam is very difficult to defend with. Also, they claim that the chain attack is against the spirit of the "For Honor" game, which more about strategy and mind games than twitchy reflexes.

The Major League Gaming tournament representative releases a statement about their decision for banning Peacekeeper "For Honor" tournament. In a forum post cited by Kotaku, the game tournament supervisor named TheShadow said that the decision will depend on the vote of the players.

"For the 'For Honor' online tournaments, we will try running a tournament with Peacekeeper banned, and then send a poll to all players. If the community is largely in favor of banning the hero, then we will do so." TheShadow explained.

As of now, many players already responding about the banning of Peacekeeper for several "For Honor" tournaments, approving the representatives' decision, saying it is right to step forward, so there is a great chance that it will stick. Others, though, as noted by Gamerant, are holding out not just for a Peacekeeper ban in tournaments, but for the character to be nerfed by Ubisoft itself.

It is obvious that even some players approve the decision of the tournament representative, other fans are massively upset with the state of the Peacekeeper, but perhaps allowing her will cause mass waves of anger from those who do pick the character in order to get those easy wins.

Not only the "For Honor" experienced the same issue of banning overpowered characters from the tournaments. In "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo," Akuma is also banned for the same reason and Meta Knight has long been frowned upon at "Super Smash Bros."
