According to the official "Arrow" Season 5, Episode 18 synopsis, Felicity, and Diggle are surprised when they learn about Oliver's decision to seek the Bratva's help to bring down Prometheus.

Diggle is concerned that the Bratva may have ulterior motives, he has a tough conversation with Oliver about what happens when things don't go according to the plan. Elsewhere, Felicity finds out something shocking at Helix in "Arrow" Season 5, Episode 18. Recently, showrunner Wendy Mericle spoke with Screener TV about the hackers at Helix.

Mericle stated that Helix is an organization that doesn't shy away from breaking any law and goes on to do something in the name of saving lives. The showrunner added that they were indeed inspired by Wikileaks and Anonymous and they looked at the real life implications of folks who perform this.

"They're an organization who's willing to break any law, go do anything in the name of 'protecting the people.' We really did sort of taking this from Anonymous and Wikileaks, and we were trying to look at the real world implications of people who do this kind of work," Mericle said.

As much as I am pro-exposing some of those secrets that I think some people need to know, there is a dark side there, and that's the line we really wanted to explore with them," Mericle added. Watch "Arrow" Season 5, Episode 18 online, here.
