New HTC U with touch-sensitive frame and can control thru squeeze can beat the latest Samsung Galaxy S8.

HTC U is another smartphone to be unveiled and released this year along with the iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8. However, this upcoming HTC handset device is said to have a unique feature that never been seen on the mobile devices.

A leak from the famous Evan Blass spread online unveiling what we could see in the upcoming HTC U. According to him, HTC is generating a touch-sensitive and pressure-sensitive frame into the HTC U, or currently known as Ocean.

With this innovative technology, users would enable to control some functions on the HTC U phone without even tapping or touching the screen. As cited by BGR report, you can bring up a menu just by squeezing the phone and take a selfie by tapping the frame.

Another perk of this touch-sensitive frame, the button is usually seen on the smartphones edge frame, power and volume button, can be replaced. The innovative frame on HTC U would enable to switch on and off the device and adjust the audio volume. Removing these buttons would provide a cleaner look and can prevent water to break inside.

Aside from this, other rumored specs of the HTC U handset are; 5.5 -inch screen with 2560x1440 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip, 12 MP rear camera, 64 GB up to 128 GB Internal storage expandable with a microSD card. These phone details are just rumors and speculation based on the current flow of technology and similar devices and still unofficial. Regarding the Blass leak, the HTC hasn't yet issued any confirmation statement about it.

According to the source, the HTC new flagship device, the HTC U, will be released this April. It set to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S8 which is expected to unveil this week. There's still no official announcement about the device's details and concrete expected price.
