'American Horror Story' Season 7 Taps Billy Eichner For A 'Heavily Recurring Role' Donning 'Mysterious Tank Tops'

FX's horror anthology series that is "American Horror Story" (AHS) is slated to be back later in the year. As fans wait for the show's seventh season that many expect to see a loose depiction of the past presidential race, the next season will also introduce a new character to be played now that a new actor has been tapped to grace the show.

Fans are already in the know that both Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson will be reprising their roles in "American Horror Story" Season 7. Fans who have been musing as to who will go alongside these two has been answered as the showrunners will be rendering the services of actor-comedian Billy Eichner from truTV's "Billy on the Street" series, Deadline has learned. Eichner is said to have a "heavily recurring role" next season and is believed to be in six to seven episodes from the scheduled 11 of the show not to mention the hint that he will be wearing mysterious tank tops.

Apart from being rumored to be a politically-themed season, no further details have been revealed to "American Horror Story's" upcoming season. However, Paulson seemed to have given a heads up to fans just recently stating that Season 7 will not be like most fans are expecting.

In a recent interview with E! News, producer Ryan Murphy doused rumors about Paulson playing the role of the then Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. He stated that such were not true adding that "American Horror Story" is all about allegory and the show will depict an allegory of that event in Season 7.

Murphy added that the election scenario will be "American Horror Story's" kick off point this seventh season. The showrunner added that the upcoming installment will be on that fateful night and its aftermath to which he described it as a "horror story."
