Microsoft Xbox Project Scorpio News: Microsoft Is Focused On Its First-Party Games

It is a big year for Microsoft as it is going to release a new gaming Console Xbox Project Scorpio this holiday season. The players of Xbox project Scorpio will be able to play all the Xbox One games. Microsoft executive has expressed that it is very critical that Microsoft's first-party games be ready for the systems.

Xbox players are desperately waiting for the new gaming console. They wanted to know what kind of games that are able to play on Xbox Project Scorpio. Phil Spencer one of the top Microsoft executives tweeted that "Having our first party games ready for Xbox Project Scorpio is critical," to one of the responses which asked if the upcoming gaming console has any launch games.

Although, it is not clear what does Phil Spencer mean about "ready,' but it is clear that he is referring to games being updated to support the new power of Xbox Project Scorpio? It makes send that Microsoft would like to have its first-party games updated for the upcoming gaming console.

The Xbox Project Scorpio was announced by the company at E3 2016 which confirmed developers like Bethesda and Electronic Arts. So it is possible that the Xbox Project Scorpio games might be created by these teams. The company is also very much focused on first-party games.

Microsoft Xbox Project Scorpio also supports all of your existing controllers and accessories. But one of the major concerns that are haunting the players is its price. Microsoft already announced that is a premium device that will be more expensive that the current Xbox One S which is available at $300 in the US market.

As it is a premium device, it is expected that its price is much higher than Xbox One S. Besides, Phil Spencer also stated that he is sure that Project Scorpio won't sell as well as Xbox One S. Microsoft even disclosed that it might hold an event before E3 to reveal the features of its upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio.
