'2 Days & 1 Night' Staff Tricks Cast Into Getting Tipsy For 'Hangover Food' Tour
"2 Days & 1 Night" production staff managed to get the show's cast members into thinking they're on a tour for finding local drinks. As a result, the members got themselves tipsy only to realize they were set up for the "Hangover Food" tour. The cast finally set out to find the best food to cure one's hangover.
Sunday's episode of "2 Days & 1 Night" kicked off at a liquor shop in the Gangnam district, according to Soompi. The all-male cast Kim Jong Min, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Joon Ho, Defconn, Yoon Shi Yoon and Jung Joon Young discovered the various traditional liquors sold at the shop and easily believed it when the producing director told them their mission is to find traditional liquors around the country.
The cast had embarked on a similar tour last year so what the PD led them to believe was easier to buy this time. So the members noticed the effects of the different liquors they tasted. Cha Tae Hyun even said, "Nothing is even funny, why are we laughing?" Defconn also asked, "If you start missing your wife, it means you're drunk, right?" That's when they have informed the real tour they had to embark on.
"2 Days & 1 Night" celebrated their 10th anniversary on episodes 486-488 aired March 5, 12 and 19. According to allkpop, their mission was a theme song making project which was released online to the public for free.
The members enlisted the help of musicians Akdong Musician, UV's Muzie, Yoo Se Yeon, Roy Kim and Kwak Jin Eon and composed the songs "Remember Each Member," "Day Off," and "Kkanaricano." The members and the producers took care of the rest, including the vocals and instruments. They released the three songs March 19 evening on their official homepage and Facebook page.
