Criminal Minds Season 12

Various followers of "Criminal Minds" Season 12 got frustrated after Thomas Gibson was axed from the show. However, new reports are claiming that the termination of the lead star could possibly be just a publicity stunt for the series.

Showbiz Herald has reported that avid fanatics of "Criminal Minds" Season 12 could still see Thomas Gibson in the show even after his dismissal. According to the news outlet, the lead actor could only be seen in the first two episodes of the twelfth installment.

However, speculations have it that Thomas Gibson could possibly make a comeback in the upcoming "Criminal Minds" Season 12 despite his sudden termination. According to sources, the plotline of the popular series is highly affected with the departure of Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner and it is impossible to end the show without giving closure to the lead character's shocking exit.

While these arguments are valid, it should be noted that neither CBS nor Thomas Gibson himself has confirmed any of these speculations. So, fans of the "Criminal Minds" Season 12 should take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, in an interview with PEOPLE, as per Entertainment Tonight, Thomas Gibson has revealed the main reason why he was dismissed on "Criminal Minds" Season 12. According to the actor, he and Virgil Williams had some disagreements, which started a feud between them on set.

Thomas Gibson stated he contradicted a line but Virgil Williams has insisted that they totally have to have the said statement to make the story effective. When he came back on the set and started talking to his co-stars in "Criminal Minds" Season 12, another scene has happened.

"He came into that room and started coming towards me. As he brushed past me, my foot came up and tapped him on the leg," Thomas Gibson recounted the incident. "If I hadn't moved, he would have run into me. We had some choice words, for which I apologized the next day, and that was it. It was over. We shot the scene, I went home - and I never got to go back," the "Criminal Minds" Season 12 actor has added on.

It remains unclear of Thomas Gibson is really coming back in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 but fans are still hopeful that these rumors will be addressed sooner or later. Stay tuned to Korea Portal for more "Criminal Minds" Season 12 spoilers, news and updates!
