Millions of techies around the world are now excited for the official release of the OnePlus 5 flagship. Now, new reports are claiming that the upcoming killer device is going to arrive with impressive specs and features that would totally change the game of Android devices today.

Droid Report shared that the highly-anticipated OnePlus 5 smartphone is likely to come out in the upcoming months, since no official release date for the said device has been made public until now. According to the news outlet, the imminent flagship is going to include several extraordinary features such as a new glass design, a matte black colored variant and an IP68 rating.

Speculations have it that OnePlus 5 is going to be a dust and water resistant because of its IP68 rating. As for its design, the imminent smartphone is reportedly going to have a ceramic build, which is totally similar with the Xiaomi Mi Mix.

Droid Report added that the forthcoming OnePlus 5 model is totally arriving with a premium look due to its all-glass design. Moreover, it has been stated that the delay of this flagship is going to be worth it as all the lacking features of the OnePlus 3T are going to be introduced on the new model.

Meanwhile, Express has claimed that OnePlus 5 is going to feature an edge-to-edge display like the Samsung Galaxy S7. It added that the upcoming flagship is going to sport a 23-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front snapper.

As for its operating system, the upcoming OnePlus 5 is said to run the Android Nougat topped with Oxygen OS. However, rumors have it that the imminent flagship might stick to the 6GB RAM like its predecessors, which can also be expanded up to 8GB. 256GB internal storage is said to be offered by the top variant.
