'The Evil Within 2' Leaked Through Job Posting? All You Need To Know On The Sequel Of The 2014 Survival Horror Game

One of the best third-person survival horror games of 2014 was known to be "The Evil Within." This horror masterpiece developed by Tango Gameworks gained world recognition right from the start of its release. And, gamers from all overlooked forward to playing it. By the looks of it, if the job posting leaked out is true, then we might have "The Evil Within 2" coming out in later future.

"The Evil Within" or "Psycho Break" in Japan, is a survival horror game directed by none other than Shinji Mikami. Mikami is well-known for designing some of the best survival horror games such as "Resident Evil" and "Dino Crisis." If what we see is true about "The Evil Within 2" coming out in the near future, then we might see more of Mikami's work.

"The Evil Within" offered players a gruesome world filled with gory and psychological horror elements. With its survival horror elements, fans were actually enjoying Mikami games once again as the "Resident Evil" horror games coming out at that time were more focused on an action-oriented gameplay. It was only recently that "Resident Evil 7" ended up impressing fans once again.

But, it was "The Evil Within" that made fans build up their hopes for the survival horror genre games back in 2014 which featured the protagonist Sebastian Castellanos. Players take control over Castellanos guiding him through the horrific asylum solving psychological puzzles around the place fending off vicious enemies. As the game received a positive feedback, there had to be "The Evil Within" sequel coming out.

There is no actual confirmation from the developers at Tango Gameworks or publishers Bethesda Softworks. But, a recent job posting at NeoGaf, hinted of an upcoming "The Evil Within 2" which has excited the fans.

It is noted in the job posting that the developers are currently working on the "The Evil Within" sequel project and are currently working on its translation and QA. However, we still consider it a rumor until we receive an official reveal for the game sequel.

Who knows, we might get an actual update regarding the release of "The Evil Within 2" later this year at the E3 expo. Bethesda is noted to hold a press conference at the event which could give us an insight of the upcoming game titles by them.
