Lee Dong Wook Holds Fan Meeting As He Clarifies Issues On Grim Reaper Role In ‘Goblin’
Lee Dong Wook recently held the 2017 Asia Tour in Seoul" on March 12. The event took place at the Seoul Blue Square Card Hall, which was joined by around 1,500 fans for a 3-hour long fun.
Based on reports, Lee Dong Wook entered the stage with a song from Zico's "You Me, Me You" that immediately made the fans go wild. Meantime, the event opened with greetings from Park Joon-hyeong, Shin Dong-yup, Seol-ah, Bae Jong-ok, Soo-ah and Dae-bak.
Following his song performance, Lee Dong Wook announced that he was set to be the MC for his won fan meeting, further revealing his different events prepared for the next fan meeting. The "Goblin" star even acted out some scenes with his fans, making their wishes come true as well, and then walked up and down the first and the second stories of the audience, getting close and personal.
Lee Dong Wook joined in most of the preparations for the fan meeting, taking part in numerous meetings to create the program and make sure that everything would be smooth. In fact, the South Korean actor also revealed the show via Naver V App for those who could not join the fan meeting, and presented as well some snacks for the fans, Hancinema reported.
Meanwhile, Lee Dong Wook clarified an issue regarding the process that took him to his grim reaper character in "Goblin." In a recent interview, the actor revealed getting upset after finding out some incorrect perceptions regarding how he was chosen for the role.
The Korean idol admitted talking to writer Kim Eu Sook for the grim reaper character, but also denied that the writer was considering another actor for the role. In fact, Lee Dong Wook revealed that Kim gave him a call after the article was published and apologized. The actor went on to reveal that he talked to Kim prior the synopsis was released and ever before Gong Yoo was chosen as the goblin, Soompi reported.
