Rockstar Drops 'GTA 6' Gameplay Video; Release Date Now Rumored To Be In 2018

Millions of gamers around the world are now excited for the upcoming release of the "GTA 6" game despite the scarcity of details about it. Now, new reports are claiming that Rockstar Games is focusing more on improving "GTA 5" than working on the upcoming sixth installment.

Droid Report shared that Rockstar Games could possibly delay the release of "GTA 6" due to several reasons. According to the news outlet, the game developer currently has a full plate with the upcoming release of the much-awaited "Red Dead Redemption 2" game and the forthcoming expansion packs for the "GTA 5" game.

It has been said that Rockstar Games is currently working on these two first, leaving minimal amount of time for the "GTA 6." Most fans know that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is going to arrive late of 2017, which could possibly be the main reason why no official details about the sixth installment of the "Grand Theft Auto" game series have been unveiled up to this writing.

DR has added that Rockstar Games is also focusing on "GTA 5" right now to keep players from playing the game. As a matter of fact, the game developer has released several DLCs for the predecessor of "GTA 6" including new stunt races, vehicles and new challenges.

Since no official details about the "GTA 6" have been made public until now, fans cannot help but speculate that Rockstar Games could possibly cancel the game. There were even claims saying that the sixth installment of the "Grand Theft Auto" game series is not even happening at all.

Meanwhile, GTA Grand Theft Auto has speculated that "GTA 6" could possibly be released in 2018. "After analysing the past GTA game we predict the next GTA 6 to release sometime around 2018 - 2020. In between we also expect some other GTA game to come. For example, GTA City Stories which is new title registered by Rockstar," the website has stated.
