Lee Min Ho donated to the World Day event for the second time, as announced by the Korean Committee for UNICEF. According to reports, the actor's donation platform PROMIZ will give 25 million won in the said event, which will be held on March 22.

Lee Min Ho and PROMIZ gave 138 sets of emergency packs to the Korean Committee for UNICEF. This will include 69 million water purifiers that will allow 92,000 children around the world to have access to clean water for a month. It is worth noting that the emergency packs of UNICEF are made up of relief items that are needed by children in emergency situations like natural disasters and wars, Soompi reported.

In another news, Lee Min Ho was voted as the top South Korean actor today. This was based on the result of the recent survey conducted by the Korea Creative Content Agency, and participated by the US-based fans of the Korean Wave.

"The Heirs" star was voted by around 4,700 fans as the most favorite South Korean actor, along with co-star Park Shin Hye, who was voted as the top South Korean actress. Meantime, Lee Ji Eun, who is also known as IU, and Gong Hyo Jin were the runners-up, Straits Times reported.

Aside from Lee Min Ho, other Korean celebrities who were voted in the male category are Lee Jong Suk and Lee Joon Gi as the runners-up. Meantime, Jong Suk is reported to appear in "While You Were Sleeping," along with Lee Min Ho's girlfriend and K-Pop idol Suzy. Based on reports, the new SBS series's story will center around Suzy, who has the ability to see unfortunate events through her dream, and Jong Suk, who plays a prosecutor that tries to prevent her dreams from becoming true.

Lee Min Ho, meanwhile, made a TV comeback in 2016 through the SBS series "The Legend of the Blue Sea," where he portrayed the role of a nobleman rescued by a mermaid from drowning. Incidentally, the 29-year old Korean idol co-starred with Park Shin Hye in "The Heirs." Watch Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye as lead favorite K-drama stars among American fans here:
