‘Goblin’ Star Gong Yoo, Park Bo Gum, AOA’s Seolhyun, Suzy Chosen As Perfect Dates For White Day

In some parts of the world, there exists a romantic holiday called the White Day where the men are expected to gift their girlfriends, wives or love interests with chocolates. Recently, an online survey named Gong Yoo, Park Bo Gum, AOA's Seolhyun and Suzy as the South Korean celebrities that netizens would like to date during the said day.

Gong Yoo topped the list of male celebrities that netizens would like to receive a gift from or go out on a date with during White Day, according to an online poll organized by PMI, as cited by All Kpop. Around 22.7 percent of the 2,000 survey respondents chose the "Goblin" actor.

Coming in at second place is Park Bo Gum, followed by the said actor's celebrity friend Song Joong Ki. The two South Korean stars received 16.5 percent and 10.6 percent of the votes, respectively. Hyun Bin nabbed the fourth spot with 3.3 percent, while Jo In Sung took the fifth spot with 2.8 percent.

For South Korean female celebrities, netizens chose two Kpop idols as the stars that they would like to date or give a special White Day gift. AOA's Seolhyun received 9.7 percent of the votes, while 7 percent of the respondents chose Suzy.

"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actress Park Bo Young landed at third place with 5 percent followed by Song Joong Ki's "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Song Hye Kyo with 3.5 percent. At fifth place is the "W - Two Worlds" actress Han Hyo Joo with 3.2 percent.

Meanwhile, White Day is just one of South Korea's love-filled holidays. Held on March 14, the said event is very similar to Valentine's Day. However, in the said Asian country, the traditional February event is a time for women to gift their love interests or boyfriends with chocolate.

In other news, Gong Yoo will soon embark on a series of special meet-and-greet events. The actor's agency shared in a recent announcement, as obtained by Yonhap News, that the "Goblin" star will visit Taiwan and Hong Kong to meet his fans.

Gong Yoo will hold his Taiwan fan meeting at Taipei's Xinzhuang Gymnasium on April 29, Saturday. The actor will then meet his Hong Kong fans in a special event to be held at the Asia World Expo on May 5, Friday.
