Meizu M5s News, Release Date: Yes! It’s Great iPhone 6 Alternative, Best Even In Charging Technology
Meizu M5s is said to be a popular alternative to the more expensive Apple iPhone 6 with comparable features. The stylish mid-end device sports a 5.2-inch HD screen, 2.5D curved glass edges and an eye-care protective mode for low light reading. As for its aesthetics, the Meizu M5s has a three piece metallic body made from aluminum alloy and sports silver, gray, champagne gold and rose gold color options.
Under the hood, the Meizu M5s packs a 64-bit 8-core MT6753 processor with 8 x ARM cores of A53 1.3GHz. The Meizu M5s also includes a 3GB LPDDR3 memory and an ARM Mali-T720 GPU. It should be noted that the device comes with 16GB or 32GB internal storage options that may be expanded to 128Gb with a MicroSD card.
One of the biggest selling points of the Meizu M5s is said to be its quick charging feature. The mCharge technology on the phone enables charging 60 percent faster than the industry average, ZDNet reported. The 3000 mAh battery on the device may charge up to 56 percent in 30 minutes with a peak power of 18W. Note that GPS may drain the battery more quickly.
As for the camera, the Meizu M5s sports a 13MP, f2. 2 apertures, Sony PDAF image sensor for high-speed autofocus and a five-element rear camera. The Meizu M5s also features an ArcSoft beautification algorithm for face-slimming techniques. In addition, the phone also has a Face AE smart facial brightness adjustment feature.
In other news, the Chinese smartphone maker recently announced the third-gen of the fast charging technology Super mCharge at the MWC in Barcelona. It has been revealed that the 11V/5A charging connector may provide 55W maximum power for the quicker charging time of 20 minutes for a 3000mAh battery, First Post Tech reported. Note that Oppo also announced its Super VOOC fast charging technology that may charge a 2500mAh battery in 15 minutes flat.
Meizu revealed that charging efficiency has increased to 98 percent for stable charging performance. Moreover, the data cable associated with the connector may now support up to 160W.
