"Your Name": This Japanese Film Is Making Everyone Crazy, Even BTS & Akdong Musician Are Big Fan
Makoto Shinkai of Japan has created an anime that was not only enjoyed by Japanese fans but even Korean idols. "Your Name," a romantic-comedy-drama anime, is said to be making most Korean idols go crazy.
While there are shows and films that are truly worth watching, there are those that make even the busiest person spend time watching the series. And this case is true with the Japanese anime, "Your Name." This film has been commended by so many fans and critics that even idols are going crazy over it.
This probably made the Japanese writer and director, Makoto Shinkai, as one of the highly praised artists for creating and heartwarming story. "Your Name" just came out on Nov. 2016, however, it has been widely appreciated instantly because of its unique, inspiring, and incredible visuals and storyline.
One Korean idol group who have admitted that they like "Your Name" is BTS. Recently, member Rap Monster had revealed in an interview that he watch the movie together with his bandmate as a form of relaxation. They commended the film as it is something they enjoy doing together.
" The latest movie we all loved was a Japanese animation Your Name by a director Makoto Shinkai. We were all fascinated by the story and artistic details in the movie," BTS Rap Monster shared.
"Your Name" or Kimi no na wa in Japanese is all about two students, a young man living in Tokyo and a young woman living in the countryside, who switched bodies with each other. Unexpectedly, as Koreaboo cited, they fell in love, forming a wonderful relationship with each other.
Meanwhile, aside from the popular BTS, another fan of "Your Name" is the duo Akdong Musician who've used the movie's poster on one of their concerts as a visible sign of their appreciation of the movie. The said poster contains the movie's character with Soo Hyun and Chan Hyuk's swapped faces.
