Little Mix Perrie Edwards Defends Louis Tomlinson After His Arrest; BF Jealous?
The authorities arrested the One Direction member Louis Tomlinson after the paparazzi incident on March 5. The news quickly spread out on the Internet and many of his friends, including Little Mix Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson, defended him.
A couple of days ago, Tomlinson topped the headlines after injuring a photographer who, according to the reports, pushed the camera to Calder's face. The 1D member confronted the paparazzi but they fell on the floor leaving the latter with an alleged concussion. But then, Little Mix Perrie Edwards said that Tomlinson is a very nice person and all he was just trying to do is protect his lady.
"When you watch the video, all he's doing is protecting his girlfriend like any normal guy would, but because he's in what was one of the biggest bands in the world people are just going to be constantly on him, which I think is unfair for him and Eleanor," quotes Capital FM. "Eleanor gets jumped on by some girls. You can clearly see those girls have got her up against a wall," Little Mix Perrie Edwards added.
Meanwhile, her friend and co-member Jesy Nelson concurred her statement. She added that people seem to forget that Tomlinson and Calder are humans, too. However, the statement of Little Mix Perrie Edwards might affect her relationship with the athlete, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
While the rumor about jealousy might not be true, most of the fans must have recognized that Little Mix Perrie Edwards dated the former One Direction member, Zayn Malik. Hence, she must have built a strong friendship with Tomlinson and the rest of One Direction members even though they broke up years ago.
On the other hand, the Arsenal hunk recently said that he does not want to end up being an inspiration to Little Mix Perrie Edwards songs in the future, notes Metro. Notably, the group's hit "Shout Out to My Ex" that won British Single of the Year is obviously a shout out to their ex-boyfriends.
