Hugh Jackman shared his struggles with the skin cancer. The 48-year-old star is on the mend and shared some shocking details that people are neglecting to protect themselves from the vicious disease. The Australian actor appeared on LIVE! with Kelly to disclose a particular form of skin cancer.
Hugh Jackman disclosed that it's a basal cell carcinoma and everything is fine. Although it is the least dangerous form of skin cancer, it is just something that cannot be ignored. He stated that "it's just something I have to get out after being an Aussie with English parents, growing up in Australia; it's sort of the new normal for me."
The actor already suffered from this form of cancer 5 times in over the short course of three years. And this is believed to be the sixth time he has been dealing with this issue. The actor is having strong hope and he believes that everything is fine. He even shared an Instagram post by wearing a little bandage on his nose with a caption, "People have been so lovely, thank you."
On Thursday, while conversing on the LIVE talk show with Kelly, the actor urged everyone to wear sunscreen and get a regular check-up. The actor even requested to go frequent check up if you are having a sensitive skin.
Along with advice, the actor even revealed a shocking detail that grabbed everyone's attention. He stated that the only one sunburn is enough for you to develop cancer. He said that doctor told him that when you were growing up as a kid and peeled the sun burned skin twice or thrice, and then you are set to be in cancer in future.
