BTS the First Korean Group to Rank in Billboard Six Times!

BTS creates a new record that puts them in the history of Billboard charts. The Korean group ranked in the popular chart for the sixth time with their latest smashing hit album "Wings: You'll Never Walk Alone" which landed at 151 this week.

BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys consists of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Big Hit Entertainment formed the band and was officially introduced in 2013.

The famous K-pop group started invading the Billboard in December 2015 when they released "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 2," reports Officially K-Music. Then, BTS continues to soar on the countdown after releasing other popular material like "Young Forever" and "Wings." Meanwhile, singles like "Not Today" and "Spring Day" ranked number 77 and 100 respectively on Billboard's Canada Hot 100.

Aside from that, BTS, along with another Korean group TWICE, set another new record in YouTube views, Billboard reports. According to the outlet, the video for BTS' "Not Today" which was out on Feb. 19 -- is now the most-viewed video in a 24-hour period. The single debuted on the YouTube Top 100 Chart in 2017.

So far, the music video received about 13.1 million views as of writing. BTS also broke their own previous record for only a week interval. The video for "Spring Day," received 11.8 million times within a day of its release.

Although BTS has been soaring popularity in the charts, it appears that not everyone is impressed. Singaporean blogger Xiaxue made some comments about the group which raised some eyebrows.

The fashion blogger and tv personality tweeted: "Ok. BTS sucks and EXO sucks worse. Lol." Worse, she said that MONSTA X, another Korean group, looks like a bunch of "trannies."

EXO, BTS, and MONSTA X are yet to comment on the issue. On the other hand, congratulations to BTS for setting a new record.
