'Doctors' Screenwriter To Pen New Drama 'Temperature Of Love'
"Doctors" screenwriter Ha Myung Hee will be back with a new drama according to Pan Entertainment in its official statement released on Tuesday. The new drama entitled "Temperature of Love" will be the award-winning writer's new project. The new series will be based on her novel.
Ha Myung Hee gained popularity for the SBS drama "Doctors" in 2016.This drama earned her a commendation during the 2016 Korea Content Awards. The Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism awarded the said achievement to Ha. This time, the writer will be back with a love story between an aspiring writer and a chef. The story will center around "Good Soup Never Picks up the Phone," a novel penned by Ha which was released back in 2014.
"Doctors" is not the first series Ha Myung Hee penned. She was also the writer of the drama "Can We Get Married?" which aired on JTBC and in 2015 she was behind the SBS series "High Society." Based on reports, the new series that Ha Myung Hee is working on will be about falling in love in the modern world.
"Temperature of Love" will focus mainly on relationships and love in the internet age. This drama is bound to be something that most people can relate to given the nature of most relationships today. The story is about an aspiring screenwriter who meets a French chef online. This chef is codenamed "Good Soup," hence the title.
Ha's previous drama "Doctors" was a medical romance between Yoo Hye Jung who used to be a gangster before he became a doctor and his teacher Hong Ji Hong who is also his boss. The couple needed to deal with office politics and many other issues in the past. There is no denying that "Doctors" became quite a hit and Ha's new series "Temperature of Love" could also be another successful series.
