Little Mix Perrie Edwards' BF: 'I Don't Want A Song About Me'
Little Mix Perrie Edwards appears very happy and in love with current boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin. On the other hand, her famous athlete man recently said that he does not want her to write a song about him.
The British singer has been out and proud with the Arsenal player. Meanwhile, Little Mix has been enjoying the success of their latest single, "Shout Out to my Ex," after it won the 2017 British Awards for the Best British Single.
While it looks like the inspiration came from the ex-boyfriends of Little Mix, Chamberlain joked that he would not want to be a topic of any of the group's singles, especially if it is dedicated to the exes. "I better watch out! I don't want her to become an ex and sing about me,' Alex told The Sun On Sunday, via Metro.
Notably, Little Mix thanked their past beaus for the success of their song. "Cheers to our exes for helping us to do an amazing song, this one's for you lads," said Jade Thirlwall. There have been rumors that Edwards dedicated the song to her famous ex-boyfriend, the former One Direction member, Zayn Malik.
Malik and Edwards dated for almost four years before calling it quits on 2015. According to the speculations, the "Pillowtalk" member dumped her via text message. He is currently in a relationship with Gigi Hadid. But then, the Little Mix member has been denying the rumors.
The speculation started when the original lyrics of the song became available on the Internet. News.au reported that the words were like this: "Heard he been f--ng some model chick, yeah that s- hurt I'll admit, but f- that boy I'm over it." Little Mix went on to explain the changes in the lyrics.
