AOA's Mina Posted A Controversial Picture On Instagram, Here's What Netizens Are Saying

AOA's Mina is currently the subject of netizens because of a picture that she uploaded in Instagram. The controversial image shows the numbers on the weighing scale. Many people argue that the idol did it on purpose to show how skinny she is.

A picture posted on Feb. 20 shows Mina on a weighing scale that reads 94.2. The caption reads "What is wrong with this?" The reveal was supposedly unintentional and Mina seems to be thinking that there is something wrong with the weighing scale since the country uses the metric system and 94.2 kilograms would be equal to 207.7 lbs. Given Mina's physique, it seems that the numbers are in pounds after all and when converted her weight is just about 42.7 kilograms.

Mina's weight is lower than the ideal weight in Korea which is 50 to 52 kilograms. The post is getting numerous comments and some believe that it was not an intentional post and that she did it on purpose. Some comments on the post poked fun on the 23-year-old k-pop icon and many netizens believe that she did it one purpose. One person commented "I think she intended that." Another comment read "100% on purpose." There were many others who agreed with these sentiments.

Needless to say, AOA's Mina is no stranger to controversy. Back in November, there were rumors that she is planning to get married to an Iranian actor in Tehran. These rumors turned out to be false. FNC Entertainment, Mina's agency, and the actor in question Hamed Tehrani denied these rumors. Mina's label has been quick to address the rumors and according to them, "The report is not true at all and we don't even know who that Iranian actor is."

While Mina's latest Instagram post is quite controversial, it is not much of an issue. There is no denying that Mina is quite lightweight if the scale's figures are indeed in pounds. AOA's Mina might have simply mistaken the number for kilograms and she felt alarmed about the numbers given her current physique.
