Oscars 2017: Full List of Nominations and Everything We Know so Far!
The Oscars 2017, also known as the 89th Academy Awards is just a week away and yet, the event has been making a wave of updates on the Internet. For those who would to everything about the annual ceremony, read on.
Popular host Jimmy Kimmel will be the masters of ceremonies. The awards night will happen on February, 26 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California. It will air on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET, with red carpet coverage kicking off at 7 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, those who are away from home may watch the ceremony via live streaming via ABC.com or via the ABC app on the smartphones.
The Oscars 2017 will award the deserving movies of 2016. According to US Weekly, the films that may bag major titles would be La La Land, which has been nominated for 14 categories. On the other hand, Moonlight is another strong contender with eight nods.
The event will also be filled with performances by Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Sting, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, to mention a few. Furthermore, it will also have A-lister presenters such as Charlize Theron, Chris Evans, Halle Berry, and much more.
