Showrunners Tease What To Expect In Upcoming 'Westworld' Season 2: More Backstory About The Hosts And Their Power Source
There have been more updates and revelations provided by the producers regarding the upcoming "Westworld" season two, which has been one of the most-anticipated shows in HBO. There will reportedly be more revelations about the characters and the storyline in the upcoming season.
The fans of the hit HBO series entitled "Westworld" have been teased by the showrunners, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. The upcoming season will reportedly reveal more about the hosts in the storyline, how they work and how they are powered. It has been confirmed that the power source of the hosts and its construction will be dwelled more in the upcoming "Westworld" season two. There have already been a few things that the fans have learned about the hosts in the previous season, but the little bits of pieces have only made them even more curious about its existence, especially after knowing that they do not suffer brain death.
Although the hosts are a lot like humans, even as fragile as they are but do not necessarily need oxygen to survive. This is one of the benefits of being one of the hosts, since they cannot be killed off the same way as humans and just can be repaired back to life once they die. Even though their decisions are dictated by their own personality, they can still have the ability to decide on their own. Thus, the upcoming "Westworld" season two is set to reveal more of these benefits or privileges that are being fed off to the hosts, along with some of its disadvantages as well.
Some of the original casts from the previous season are set to return to "Westworld" season two, including actor Ed Harris who portrays the role of the Man in Black. The actor himself confirmed his return to the show's upcoming season. Another character that is expected to return is the one of Dr. Robert Ford, played by actor Anthony Hopkins that although his demise was teased, it is more likely that he will return. The release date for "Westworld" season two is yet to be announced.
