Joon Jin Mo And Zhang Li Final Admit Dating Relationship
Actor Joo Jin Mo and Chinese actress Zhang Li finally confirmed their romantic relationship after months of denial.
The 42-year-old actor admitted to a relationship for the first time with his "I'm Sorry, My Love" co-star Zhang Li.
According to Soompi, a representative from the actor's management agency Fantagio Entertainment confirmed the dating reports Wednesday.
"It is true that [Joo Jin Mo] is in a relationship with Zhang Li. Joo Jin Mo helped Zhang Li when she came to Korea, which is how they became close," the representative told news outlet TV Report.
The couple met when they met the Chinese drama "I'm Sorry, My Love" last year.
Chinese media outlets first reported that the Korean actor and the 32-year-old Chinese actress were secretly dating after being spotted on a seeming date in July last year, five months after they completed filming the drama.
The actor's label then denied the rumors.
"The reports on Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li are not true. The two are close friends, and the picture is taken from the gathering with the whole staff," allkpop quoted Fantagio Entertainment as saying.
The dating rumors sparked again seven months later after Chinese media outlets released photos of the two celebrities enjoying a vacation together in Japan.
The actor once revealed that he's a fan of Korean girl groups such as Girls Generation and 2NE1.
"Actually, I love idols in short skirts," said Joo Jin Mo in 2012 on MBC TV's "Entertainment News," as reported by Daily Kpop News.
"In terms of looks, I'll go for Girls' Generation while in terms of music and personality, I'll pick 2NE1,″ the actor elaborated.
The reported then asked him, "If you were to choose between Girls' Generation and 2NE1 only, who would you bring to an unoccupied island?
"If we're talking about unoccupied island, I'll definitely pick Girls' Generation," answered Joo Jin Mo.
He then revealed that he's a fan of YoonA and even gave the idol a video message.
