“Goblin” Actress Lee Il Praises Kim Go Eun And Kim Eun Sook
"Goblin" actress Lee Il continued to shoot praises for former co-star Kim Go Eun and Korea's best screenwriter Kim Eun Sook.
The 34-year-old actress revealed signs of hangover from the hit drama series as she still raved on about the "Goblin" screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and fellow actress Kim Go Eun.
"She's like a puppy," Soompi quoted Lee Il as saying about the 25-year-old Kim Go Eun in a recent interview with @star1. "Her aegyo (cuteness) makes a person melt. She's an all-around wonderful friend."
While she saw her fellow actress as a friend, Lee Il acted as a fan to the 43-year-old screenwriter.
"Her script read easily like a comic book," she said and added, "Kim Eun Sook has a special way of making things that might read cheesy come off as charming when played out by actors."
Kim Eun Sook grabbed the title as the country's best screenwriter after being voted by industry experts.
According to Soompi, news outlet TV Report conducted the survey for the country's best screenwriter. The respondents included 10 reporters from the news outlet as well as 20 sources from the entertainment and advertising companies.
Almost to no one's surprise, the "Goblin" screenwriter was picked as the best with a staggering 66 percent of the votes.
"No one is as good as she is at creating a trendy storyline and portraying characters in a way people from all over the world can relate to, as proven by 'Goblin,'" commented one participant who chose the recent drama as her best to date.
Another participant also explained why the writer is considered successful and noted that, "Every drama she writes is a big hit, and she has created characters that brought many male actors to stardom."
The participant can easily be pointing to actor Song Joong Ki who rose to stardom after starring in "Descendants of the Sun."
"She also consistently creates a new catchphrase that dominates the time. More than anything else, her ability to create a new trend and think outside the box is impressive," added the participant.
