Moto G5 Release Date: MWC 2017 In Barcelona To Host Launch?; Android Nougat Rolls Out For Moto Z In US
Moto G5 is expected to release in the middle of March, following a tipster's post via Twitter. According to this, the new Motorola model will be launched during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
Moto G5 Specs And Features Revealed
Moto G5 tipster named Roland Quandt shared that the new device will be sold in two color options - Gray and Gold, with base model having 2GB and 16GB RAM while the higher-end model sports 3GB and 32GB RAM. The Motorola smartphone will also feature a 5-inch screen and a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080, placing it at 441 ppi density.
Moreover, Moto G5 is also expected to include a massive 3000mAh battery and will work under Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430, clocked at 1.4GHz. As for the camera, reports suggest a rear camera at 13MP.
Moto G5 will reportedly feature the new and updated Android 7.0 Nougat version for the OS, and a fingerprint sensor at the rear, including NFC features that suggest a likely more payment options. Furthermore, the new USB Type-C port, which is capable of providing faster charging, is also reported to be included. Meantime, the actual benchmarks of the new Moto G5 have not been announced yet, Tech Radar India reported.
Unlocked Moto Z Unveils In US
Unlocked Moto Z reportedly begins to unveil the Android Nougat update to its US users this February, according to numerous online reports from other users. Reports indicate that the update took longer than the usual to come for the owners who purchased the unlocked Moto Z in September.
