"House of Cards" Season 5 teasers have been growing in numbers, most especially on the official Twitter page. The most recent were the post that showed President Frank Underwood performing push-ups. With him, was a character that awaits revelation. Set to air on Netflix on May 30, spoilers also suggest that Claire Underwood may likely become the first female president of United States in the next season.

"House of Cards" Season 5 Will Focus On The First Lady

In the next "House of Cards" Season 5, the Underwoods will become the most powerful couple, as the First Lady is expected to be sworn as the President. However, it may not be an easy road given the new characters that will be introduced to the show like Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott.

"House of Cards" Season 5 is also reported to add other new faces such as Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese. Meantime, other cast members include Neve Campbell, Kim Dickens, Michael Kelly, Joel Kinnaman, Nathan Darrow, Derek Cecil, Elizabeth Marvel, Jayne Atkinson, Ellen Burstyn and Cicely Tyson.

Meanwhile, "House of Cards" Season 5 spoilers reveal that the plot centers around the First Lady, who is played by Robin Wright, for most of the episodes. In fact, she may eventually become the President after getting rid of her husband through the help of Campbell. It should be noted that the President is currently in poor health, which some reports claim would mean an easy job for the usurpers to plan his demise, The Independent reported.

"House of Cards" Creator Posts "Anti-Trump" Tweets

"House of Cards" creator Beau Willimon was reported to have posted 25 tweets on Friday about a "Declaration of Resistance" against the US President Donald Trump. According to reports, the "Declaration" is created after the Declaration of Independence, which also accuses the president of making "usurpation and injuries" the pursue the establishment of a tyranny over the States. Based on his tweets, Willimon also calls for the president's impeachment, Variety reported.
