WINNER has taken a short hiatus but recently, rumors are telling that the boy group is preparing for a comeback. Various news reveals more of their current and upcoming schedules and it involves creating a new music video.

According to a reliable insider in the industry, WINNER is filming a new music video on Jan. 14. The four-membered group is also entering the last stage of recording, however, the details about their exact comeback is still a secret. But, despite many unconfirmed details, the rumors were strengthened with the members announcing their comeback on a live stream via Naver V. (via Koreaboo)

Fans are a little distressed about having little to no details at all about their comeback, but it only shows how dedicated they are with keeping everything a secret first until the right time comes.

WINNER is originally composed of five groups namely Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, Taehyun, and Seungyoon. However, Taehyun left the group on Nov. 2016 because of health issues. According to Inquisitr, fans were shocked with Nam Taehyun quitting the boy group. YG Entertainment has formally announced about his difficulties with mental health issues and that it interferes with the group's activities, such as promotions. Therefore, they have to let him go.

Despite one member leaving, the four-membered group managed to survive and even gaining more fans nationwide. WINNER, who was formed in 2013's WIN: Who is Next program, has gained various awards such as Best New Artist in 2014, MelOn Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, and the Mnet Asian Music Awards.

The first month of January this year had let Mino joining New Journey to the West, a variety show while another WINNER member, Seungyoon, also becoming a permanent member of Flower Crew, another Korean variety show. This made fan having doubts about their comeback, however, YG Entertainment has confirmed about the group's return with a new single to be released in March.
