The Voice Season 12: Blake Shelton Slams Adam Levine For The Walk Of Fame Achievement?
The Voice Season 12 judge Blake Shelton might have slammed his co-judge Adam Levine during the Walk of Fame ceremony. The country singer's girlfriend, Gwen Stefani imparted a warning to him before his speech.
The Maroon V lead singer got inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday. Stefani attended the show along with Shelton to witness his induction.
But when Shelton was about to give his speech about Levine, the No Doubt singer warned him by saying "be nice." Did Shelton slam Levine while sharing his insights of the frontman?
It appears that The Voice Season 12 coaches are fond of throwing shades to each other for fun. Likewise, Shelton did nice at least for the first part, Entertainment Tonight reports.
"Imagine my disappointment when I found out this wasn't a roast," Shelton joked. In the end, he was able to give a heartwarming message to his friend.
"If you would have told me that this guy would end up being one of my best friends, I would have called you crazy," he said. "But I have seen a lot of ups and downs, and I have never had a more honest and loyal friend than Adam Levine through my personal journey."
Shelton added further that he is happy and proud of Levine. In return, the crowd applauded, including Stefani for his statement.
Apparently, the blonde rock star will be joining her boyfriend and Levine when The Voice Season 12 returns on television. Alicia Keys will also be there to complete the slate of judges that will take the big red seat.
Notably, Shelton and Levine have been on the show since its premiere, while Alicia Keys stepped in on the previous season. Meanwhile, Stefani was a mentor and temporarily replaced Aguilera.
She was out during the last season but this time her return is definitely confirmed. Stay tuned for more news about The Voice Season 12 or check out the updates by liking its official Facebook page.
