EXO’s Xiumin Believes Fellow Band Members Are Better Than Him
EXO is just one of the talented South Korean boy bands with a huge fan base, not only in Asia but in other parts of the world. Recently, Xiumin shared his thoughts about his fellow band members and his role in the Kpop group.
EXO's Xiumin gave a candid interview with fashion magazine Grazia, as cited by Korea Herald, where he talked about his position in the band. Highlighting how his fellow bandmates each possess unique characteristics, he commented that he is the "least distinctive" member of the said Kpop group.
Given how some of Xiumin's fellow band members are known to be the South Korean boy band's best dancer, rapper or main vocalist, the singer mentioned that he neither has any of the said roles to make him stand out in the group. Despite claiming that he has nothing unique to offer to fans, he commented that what he perceived as his unexceptional role in the band can also be his strength.
Xiumin explained that he can play the role of an avid supporter to his fellow band members. He stated, "My strength is that I can be with any other member. I am a supporter to make them better."
Despite the said EXO member's personal belief, avid followers have a different opinion and even named Xiumin as a fan magnet, as indicated in the same report. Dubbed as the person responsible for drawing in new fans, the singer conveyed his appreciation for the said title.
In other news, EXO's music video for "Monster" reached an impressive view count on YouTube. In a recent announcement released by the K-pop group's agency, as obtained by Yonhap News, S.M. Entertainment shared that the said music clip crossed the 100 million view count level as of Feb. 6, Monday.
The said milestone marked the boy band's fourth time to reach the 100 million view count on YouTube. Apart from "Monster," EXO's previous music videos for "Overdose," "Growl" and "Call Me Baby" also achieved the same view count.
