Virtus.Pro Forfeits DAC 2017; Released Team Manager

In the official statement released by the general manager Roman Dvoryankin in the team's official blog, he says that the constant occurrence of such things in 2017 is 'unacceptable'. Dvoryankin apologized to the fans and shareholders affected by the situation. At the end of his statement, he announced the departure of their Dota 2roster manager, Andrey Kvasnevsky.

"Last week, during the first game of the DAC qualifier, our Dota 2 roster encountered internet connection issues. It's 2017 and such things would be unacceptable even in a mixed amateur tournament. On Monday, we were the target of a DDoS attack that was also preventable. As head of the organization, I bear the responsibility for this and would like to apologize to the team's fans and shareholders. We have also decided that our Dota 2 roster manager, Andrey Kvasnevsky, will be leaving the team. I'd like to wish Andrey all the best of luck in the future. It wasn't an easy decision to make."

Virtus Pro was playing against Team Effect but received default losses due to constant disconnection from the game. The team wasn't able to qualify for the DAC 2017, which is one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments of the year.
