UFC 197: Conor McGregor – Rafael Dos Anjos Fight Is On, So Is The Trash Talking And Insults

Conor McGregor to the WWE has been talked about since last year when the UFC lightweight champion talked trash to the WWE superstars. Although an appearance at WrestleMania 33 is not on the cards at the moment, McGregor teased that he could make his WWE debut very soon.

In an interview with MMA Fighting over the weekend, McGregor confirmed that there are negotiations between his camp and the WWE. There were reports earlier in January that McGregor's camp turned down an offer from Vince McMahon to appear at WrestleMania 33.

"Never say never. I'll love to go into that WWE and have a real knock. Let one of them have a real knock and see what's what. But we'll see. There are conversations ongoing. I've turned down some things, the conversation's still ongoing," McGregor said.

"Notorious" also had some choice words for WWE chairman Vince McMahon regarding the "billionaire strut" he used during his walkup at UFC 205. The walk became even popular after the UFC superstar used it as other athletes started doing it.

"I'm thinking Vince McMahon must be pissed. I don't give an f*** about Vince McMahon. I stole that walk, and that walk is now mine. And not Vince, or any of that p ***** over at the WWE will do anything about it. That's my walk. I created that walk. I made that walk," McGregor bragged.

The 28-year-old Irishman got in the skin of a lot of WWE superstars last year when called out the entire roster. Many people believe that McGregor was just advertising his fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 last August 2016.

Nevertheless, the buzz only got bigger as Triple H was present at UFC 205 when McGregor defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight championship. Also, McGregor is in hiatus from fighting at the moment due to the impending birth of his first child with girlfriend Dee Devlin.

Since the brash Irishman has nothing to do until May, he could earn millions for appearing at WrestleMania 33. Boxing rival Floyd Mayweather earned a reported $16 million for his match with The Big Show at WrestleMania 24 in 2008, per The Sun.

The WWE and McGregor's camp still has two months left to get a done deal for WrestleMania 32. Check out the video below to see some WWE superstars respond McGregor's comments about them.
