Kwon Sang Woo Builds Home For An Unfortunate Family
Hallyu star Kwon Sang Woo helped build a home for an unfortunate family as he himself enjoys being a family man.
The 40-year-old actor appeared Friday on the pilot episode of JTBC's "This Is My Home" which aims to build homes for the less fortunate.
"I liked the title," said Kwon Sang Woo on why he agreed to appear on the show. "'This Is My Home' has a thoughtful meaning behind it. The word home itself is significant to me."
Actor-comedian Lee Kyung Kyu and actress-singer Chae Jung Ahn joined the "Stairway to Heaven" star as they visited the chosen family who's been living in a century-old house.
"We have to tear it down," said Lee Kyung Kyu.
"This is so shocking, to even think that children live here. It's unbelievable," added Chae Jung Ahn.
Kwon Sang Woo also chimed in and said, "I came after reading the letter but I didn't think it was going to be this bad."
The three celebrities started working on the project as the house was demolished. Kwon Sang Woo even spent precious time with the family's children.
The dashing actor is a happy family man himself with actress Son Tae Young and their two children Rookie and Riho.
His wife revealed how happy their married life is when they appeared as guests on "Video Star" last year.
"I don't think I'm sick of anything after 8 years of marriage. I still feel like we're dating," said the 36-year-old actress and former Miss Korea.
Kwon Sang Woo also revealed the strength of their relationship in a separate interview in 2015.
"We fought a lot during the first 2 to 3 years of our marriage. But right now, everything has been adjusted to my wife's liking," all K-pop quoted him as saying.
Kwon Sang Woo also appears on MBC's new travel variety show "Puberty in their 40s" with real life friend and comedian Jung Jun Ha.
