Nioh - New PS4 Pro Gameplay - Ogress Boss Battle!

The Ninja study has always stood out for offering works an enviable quality graphics and Nioh would not be the exception. Critically acclaimed, the exclusive title for PlayStation 4 seems to thrill all those who will throw hands on. Among them, Digital Foundry, who have analyzed their technical performance and concluded that Nioh is the title that makes better use of the potential of PlayStation 4 Pro.

While describing the graphic quality of Nioh as outstanding but unobtrusive, detailed scenarios and characters shine in a special way and the visual effects of weather or lightning that can be seen at certain times in history. But something that is especially grateful is the reduced loading time between death and regeneration of character, something that fans of Soul will find more than welcome.

As far as resolution is concerned, Nioh not only depends on the hardware you have available but also your priorities. In an almost unique move, the title gives you to choose between three game modes: Action Mode, with an adaptive and 60fps resolution; Movie mode, 30fps but adapted the best resolution possible; and Mixed Mode, which includes the best features of the two modes mentioned above. The most prominent game that allows this type of options with Nioh is Rise of the Tomb Raider. The analysis shows that the Action Mode Nioh on the PlayStation 4 Pro works very solid with a resolution of 1080p which can drop to 1280 × 730, so it is probably preferred by the players. The operation of Movie Mode, meanwhile, is also remarkable its resolution 30fps and 2160p and 1440p varies between. As for the Mixed Mode, the minimum resolution is 2304 × 1296.

In a PlayStation 4 to use Nioh spends most of the time in 1280 × 720 in Action Mode and the picture quality is lower than that seen in the PlayStation 4 Pro but operates also very solid except in areas Which have many effects. The same applies to the Movie mode, also with a visibly lower resolution than that seen on PlayStation 4. The Mixed Mode is the one that has less attention in the original console, it seems to be quite inconsistent, not as in the PlayStation 4 Pro.

Digital Foundry The conclusion draws from this analysis is that Nioh is the game that best leverages the technical features of the PlayStation 4 Pro and the first that makes it stand out. Many players wondered if this console was really necessary, as the differences with the PlayStation 4 Pro were not very noticeable; but Nioh shows that indeed the PlayStation 4 Pro may be an option to consider when maximizing the experience.
