Lee Dae Hae Reveals Love Story With Boyfriend Se7en
Actress Lee Da Hae opened up for the first time about her romantic relationship with boyfriend and pop star Se7en.
The star from "My Girl" revealed how she first met Se7en, her first impression of the singer and other juicy tidbits behind their love story.
The 32-year-old actress appeared Thursday on tvN's "Life Bar" where hosts Shin Dong Yup, Tak Jae Hoon, Kim Joon Hyung and Eric Nam drilled her about her love life.
Lee Da Hae proved to be a good sport and half-jokingly said, "The fact that I'm dating the son of the convenience store (7-Eleven)? What's there to say? It's a truth everyone knows."
She recalled when a common acquaintance invited her one night shortly after Se7en, also 32, was discharged from the military to go out and drink with them.
"Back then I thought, 'Se7en'? Drink with him?' At that time, I saw Se7en from the same perspective as the public. It wasn't a good image," she revealed.
Se7en was reprimanded in the military during his military conscription after he and other celebrities were caught breaking their curfew and going out for massage parlors, one of which turned out to be known for prostitution.
Lee Da Hae eventually met with Se7en and other friends on another occasion.
"I keep thinking that if I didn't show up then, it would've been the biggest regret of my life," she said.
She added that it was at that moment when she found Se7en to be "innocent and very cheerful" and just "like an innocent child."
She also praised him for wanting to meet and give assurance to her mother when they started officially dating.
The actress also revealed that she stepped her foot in when Se7en became hesitant to admit their relationship in public.
The celebrity couple confirmed their relationship in September last year as paparazzi photos of them dating abroad surfaced.
"He's actually a person that I need to be thankful for because I became brighter, and I would've regretted it if I kept meeting him like that (only as a friend)," said Lee Da Hae on her boyfriend.
