Tangled The Series: What to Expect In The Upcoming Disney Animated TV Show
Fans of Disney's animated film Tangled might be delighted to know that Rapunzel and Flynn are back for a new television series. Tangled The Series will premiere on Disney Channel on March 24 and here is the latest scoop about the much-awaited cartoon.
Those who are still nostalgic of the legendary protagonist with the long hair and her camel must be excited about the latest report. Well, it is not just the fans, but also the cast of the previous film that will be reprising their roles.
What to Expect in Tangled The Series?
Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi return to the series as Rapunzel and Flynn, also known as Eugene. The duo described their excitement about Tangled The Series in a cute video courtesy of MTV News.
"Flynn is now Eugene, but he's also still kinda Flynn, isn't he?" Levi asked. On the other hand, Moore explains that the show will focus a lot on Rapunzel's parents, saying that "family's very important."
Meanwhile, Animation World Network explained the plot more thoroughly. The site wrote that Tangled The Series would show how Rapunzel will learn from her parents before she can be an effective princess of Corona.
While it is still unsure whether she got married to Flynn Rider, the outlet stated that the show will also feature Pascal the chameleon and the witty horse, Maximus. A new character- Cassandra (voiced by Broadway's Eden Espinosa) will be joining the series as Rapunzel's best friend.
Aside from Moore and Levi, a bunch of talented voice actors from the movie adaption will also reprise their roles on the upcoming television series. Some of them are Sean Hayes as Pete the Guard, Jeremy Jordan as teen alchemist Varian, Richard King as Uncle Monty, to mention a few.
The number of episodes is yet to be revealed, though. But, the trailer of Tangled The Series unveils that Rapunzel will be growing up her 70 ft. hair again, as per Variety.
