Jung Yong Hwa Reveals Just How Much Of An Introvert He Is
CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa revealed just how much of an introvert he is when he unveiled his typical day as a bachelor.
The 27-year-old singer-actor showed another side of himself when he gave viewers a peek into his bachelor life.
The artist joined actor Choi Min Soo and singer Solbi and opened up their private lives to be scrutinized on the new show "Syndrome Man" which aired Monday. Jung Yong Hwa also happens to co-host the show along with Kim Gura, Kim Min Jong and Super Junior member Kim Heechul.
The show revealed Jung Yong Hwa's gold-themed home and how he maintains a quiet solitude inside. The artist makes himself a coffee, enjoys the view of Seoul and the Han River and just kills time by lying on his sofa.
Solbi related to this lifestyle and said, "I'm similar. I don't even tell my manager my phone number."
The hosts dubbed this lifestyle as a "log out syndrome" wherein a person disconnects from the outside world upon getting home.
A psychologist on the show explained Jung Yong Hwa's lifestyle as typical among the introverts.
"Introverts exert energy when they meet up with other people," said the psychologist. "I can't meet up with people outside because I worry that something bad might happen if I do."
Jung Yong Hwa agreed and shared that he rarely goes out for drinks.
"I think of that activity as an extension of work. When I'm at home, I don't even touch my phone," he said.
He also once said that he resists the temptation to party.
"Honestly, it is not easy to take care of myself before performances," allkpop quoted him as saying in an interview with "Elle." "I do want to go out at night, and drink away, but there is no guarantee that the audience is going to be able to see us again in another performance. It could be their first and last concert."
