Huawei P10 Release Date, Specs & Update: Curved Screen Confirmed By Leaked Images; Imminent Smartphone Almost The Same With P9, P9 Plus

Millions of techies around the world are not excited for the upcoming release of the Huawei P10 smartphone. While information about the imminent device remains scarce until now, rumors and speculations about it have surged already.

Speculations have it that Huawei P10 will not be totally different with the Mate P9. According to unconfirmed reports, the upcoming smartphone is going to feature a 5.5-inch curved screen display with a suitable home button below the screen, as per Tech Times.

The news outlet has even claimed that Huawei could possibly be mimicking Samsung's move to produce curved and non-curved variants of its smartphones. Aside from that, there have been claims saying that Huawei P10 is going to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

"An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner works by deploying ultrasonic waves to recognize a person's fingerprint, irrespective of whether the finger is wet, sweaty or covered in filth and grimes," Tech Times claimed about the newest technology rumored to be featured in Huawei P10. "The technology also allows the scanner to be embedded virtually on any part of the device, like say, the screen or the back panel."

Meanwhile, MStarsNews speculated that the upcoming Huawei P10 is going to be a much-better version of its predecessors. It can be recalled that the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus have a display size of 5.2 inches with an aerospace class aluminum body.

Furthermore, the predecessor of Huawei P10 has 3000 mAh battery with fingerprint sensor and virtual triple antenna. Though most of these specs and features are already present in Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, these are expected to have versions in the upcoming smartphone.

Up until now, no official details about the imminent Huawei P10 have been announced yet though it is rumored to be launched in the first quarter of 2017.
