Thousands of fans are now excited for the upcoming premiere of "Criminal Minds" Season 12. Now, new reports are claiming that Thomas Gibson is impossible to make a comeback in the upcoming twelfth installment.
Speaking to TV Line, Erica Messer has divulged that the departure of Thomas Gibson in the popular series is one of the biggest challenges she had to deal with. Though she was badly hurt on the sudden termination of the actor, she revealed that Derek Morgan is not returning in "Criminal Minds" Season 12.
Instead, Erica Messer stated that she spent all summer writing about the newest character that will replace Derek Morgan (Thomas Gibson) on the BAU team in "Criminal Minds" Season 12. She revealed that Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez) is going to become an amazing addition to the team.
"Adam [Rodriguez] has been such an amazing addition, from the jump," showrunner Erica Messer has stated about the newest character in "Criminal Minds" Season 12. "From the minute the audience met him, the minute the team started working with him, he just fit right in, and I'm so thankful for that."
Erica Messer, however, made it clear that Shemar Moore will not get a replacement in "Criminal Minds" Season 12. This is despite the rumors claiming that another star will substitute the character.
Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that Diana (Jane Lynch), who is the mother of Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) has a fascinating life story. Reports have claimed that Diana is going to be the focus of the first three episodes of the "Criminal Minds" Season 12.
The news outlet added that Mr. Scratch will also be a part of the "Criminal Minds" Season 12 storyline. Another star to appear in the upcoming installment is Tatum O'Neal who is reportedly playing as Miranda White.
