Phil Jackson To Trade Carmelo Anthony; Melo Wants To Stay With The Knicks

Despite of several issues that surround the New York Knicks star, Carmelo Anthony is still hopeful that would remain as a Knick and will continue to play with the team. Reports show that Phil Jackson is now planning to move Anthony as early as possible.

The 32-year old star forward Carmelo Anthony once said that he is willing to do what's best for the team. Anthony also mentioned that he is willing to waive his No Trade Clause if the Knicks management really wants him out.

However, Melo is still hopeful to be a part of the Knicks in the next couple of years. His loyalty has been proven and is still focused on the present situation of the team as per the USA Today mentioned in their report.

Carmelo Anthony showed his loyalty to the Knicks and proves he has no desire of leaving his beloved team. Despite of the teams current standing, he is still working on his game and trying to do everything to get out of the curse they are into.

On the other hand, the Knicks President Phil Jackson expressed his thoughts about Carmelo Anthony, Jackson even asked Anthony if he would still want to be a part of the team. Criticizing Anthony for his lack of defensive awareness, Jackson seemed to plan to move Anthony and will continue to rebuild the rest of the team.

The New York Daily News said in their report that Phil Jackson was likely to pick up a fight against Carmelo Anthony since last week. It is considered as a move that will make Carmelo Anthony decide to leave instead of working with Jackson.

If the New York Knicks should let Carmelo Anthony out of the Madison Square Garden, the team needs to pick a great deal that would provide them the contribution they need. The Knicks are currently in a tight situation as they are struggling to compete for an NBA playoffs spot.
