Court hears arguments on arrest warrants for Kim Ki-choon and Cho Yoon-sun

Culture Minister of South Korea, Cho Yoon-sun, has been arrested after being investigated as a suspect for creating a blacklist intended to censor critics artists with the government. The expansive scandal of corruption that is currently covering the entire country under its shadow has sprinkled, with this detention, the world of culture.

A new policy floor of the large network that is growing. It has become the plot of Choi Soon-il, triggering the fall of the South Korean president, Park Geun-hye and also drawing trouble into major multinational conglomerates such as Samsung and Hyundai.

This is the first arrest of a minister active in the history of China. After hearing the decision of the Central District Court of Seoul, Cho has resigned from office before going to court along with former chief of staff of the presidential office Ki-Choon Kim who is also the author of the blacklist.

According to the prosecution, it has been confirmed that this list would be formed with the names of nearly 10,000 artists that remain critical to management, it has some of the most renowned filmmakers and writers in the country.

It is considered that the list could be a tool within the network of coercion and extortion , allegedly orchestrated under orders from Choi Soon-sil, the central figure in the corruption scandal and is dubbed the "Rasputina" to its proximity to President Park.

Researchers now analyze whether the blacklist was created at the request of the chair or under their knowledge , and their exact links with the confabulations of "Rasputina".

Created with the intention of preventing them from receiving public subsidies and private financing as well as placing them under state supervision, the prosecution spokesman Lee Kyu-chul said during the press conference that Cho and Kim are accused of crimes of abuse of authority and perjury, considering that the list "seriously violates freedom of thought and expression of the people"
