In a discussion thread submitted by Redditor GrimmGiddyCordy, he suggested that Yoshihiro Togashi may return February. While some agreed, others commented that a late Spring 2017 launch for "Hunter X Hunter" chapter 361 may be more acceptable. Others remarked that the series creator should at least get some help from other experts if his health is getting in the way.

Last year, Anime News Network reported that Yoshihiro Togashi has taken the "Hunter X Hunter" series with him on an indefinite hiatus. There was no resumption date announced by Shueisha at that time and until now, there is no news about chapter 361 and Togashi's comeback.
According to the outlet, the manga series took a 2-year-long hiatus due to Togashi's alleged lower back pain. The report referred to the illustrator's condition as "serious." It has yet to be revealed if the latest hiatus was also due to his illness.
