'Attack On Titan' Season 2 News: 'Higher Quality' Season On The Way, Creator Teases
Hajime Isayama's "Attack on Titan" has soared heights over the past years since the manga was released. In fact, fans are now looking forward to the anime adaptation's second season. It appears that there will be more good things to come for the series' followers as the creator teased that the upcoming installment will be of "higher quality."
August 2016 Interview Dug Up
A Suniuz user recently dug up an August 2016 interview that the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine had with Hajime Isayama. The "Attack on Titan" fan translated the interview to give other followers a hint on what they should expect of the new season.
In the interview, the famous manga creator was asked about how things were progressing behind the scenes of development for "Attack on Titan" season 2. Isayama said, "It took us some time [to get the season prepared]. However, the time we have spent builds up to a much better planning and higher quality of the anime."
Aside from revealing that fans will see a more improved storyline in "Attack on Titan" season 2, Hajime Isayama also dished that he is involved in the work that screenwriters do for the upcoming season. While all of the storylines for the upcoming installment have not been teased yet, viewers can expect better arcs since Isayama has helped with the writing.
First Official Trailer Unveiled
During the holidays, Funimation unleashed the first official trailer for "Attack on Titan" season 2 online. iDigital Times notes that the most exciting part of the clip was the appearance of the Beast Titan.
Also, fans were given a taste of the upcoming brawl that will take place between two core characters in "Attack on Titan" season 2. Reiner and Eren will find themselves in a heated confrontation but things will be packed with tension when the two take on their Titan forms.

Meanwhile, former "Attack on Titan" editor Park Jung-hyun was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police last week for allegedly being involved in the murder of his wife. According to The Tokyo Reporter, Park himself phoned the authorities, informing them that his wife "collapsed."

The outlet went on to state that the former "Attack on Titan" editor first told the police his wife fell down the stairs. Later, Park changed his statement, saying his wife took her own life. Investigations are currently going on and more details about the issue are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 will premiere sometime April 2017.
