‘The Originals’ Season 4 Premiers March 17; Season 5 Renewal Underway?
"The Originals" is now bringing excitement to a lot of fans as its premier day is fast approaching. The production has already finished is now ready for viewing on March 17, 2017. Now, questions are already being asked if there is a possible renewal for Season 5.
Reports have claimed that showrunner Michael Narducci is leaving "The Originals" as he will be working with ABC Studios for a two-year contract project. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Narducci will be working with different ABC Studios TV series which gained a lot of viewers, such as "Grey's Anatomy".
On Narducci's absence, Julie Plec is expected to take over the series when and if "The Originals" will be renewed for season 5, TV Line reports. Moreover, Julie Plec expressed that she will greatly miss Narducci, since he has been a great friend and partner in running "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" since season 2.

However, there are no confirmation as to the renewal of "The Originals" for season 5, however, Julie Plec will have to take the lead. A statement from CW president, Mark Pedowitz, was released last Sunday, conveying that he wants to continue "The Originals" series, and will greatly depend on the performance. Moreover, Pedowitz has high confidence in Julie Plec, counting on her to "deliver for the season".
Fans will see "The Originals" Season 4 five years forward, with Hayley and her little girl Hope, on a journey to save the Mikaelsons. Recalling from season 3, Klaus, and the rest of his family have been overpowered by Marcel.
