Nokia 6 Release Date, News & Update

Nokia is trying to make a comeback with its first Android smartphone, called the Nokia 6. This is expected to be launched and made available to the mass in February at the Mobile World Congress Event. Interestingly, the Nokia 6 will showcase superb features in just a cost of around $245 including the latest version of Android OS, however, the phone has its downside.

Nokia's latest model will arrive with interesting features including the latest version of Android, the Nougat 7. This has a speed comparable to Samsung Galaxy S7 and other phones with similar OS. However, the phone has a low-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and is only available in China.

Nokia 6's Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Is Not Impressive

The Nokia 6 Android Smartphone features 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. It has a 16-megapixel camera and 5.5 inches of length with 1920x1080 HD screen. Nokia 6 also features 3,000 mAh battery which is a bit fair for a smartphone device.

However, being the latest flagship of Nokia company, having a Snapdragon 430 processor is not as impressive as what you think. This model was released in 2016 and supports X6 LTE with CAT 4 speeds, which is reportedly a bit slower compared to the other models such as the Snapdragon 617. There are better and newer processors available in the market like the Snapdragon 600 series and 800 series.

Nokia 6 Only Available In China

You heard is right, Nokia 6 supply will only be available in China and not to other regions. Forbes reported, "Launching in China opens up a number of interesting dynamics. Unlike the markets in Europe and North America, the Chinese market is one that is still going through its growth phase. Re-establishing 'brand Nokia' is going to be easier here than it would be in the saturated citadels where Nokia once ruled."
